As part of Protective Behaviours Consortium service to the employment sector to ensure people feel safe in the workplace, it has expanded its range of training courses. It will deliver a one-day Managing Conflict course on Thursday 6th February 2020 at the Custard Factory, Digbeth, Birmingham. This 1-day course has been designed to introduce managers to the fundamentals of assertive behaviour and will help them identify different causes of conflict and adopt strategies in order to effectively manage conflict situations. It includes an understanding of relevant employment law regarding the rights of employees, as well as the key skills necessary to communicate effectively at work. Key Protective Behaviours concepts underpin this course. As an introduction to the new PBC management training courses, you can book a place on this course for a reduced fee of £100 per person (normal fee is £150 applies) and includes course handouts on all topics covered. Following the exceptionally successful launch of this course in November 2019, the next course is now scheduled for Wednesday 5th February 2020 at the iconic Custard Factory. Protective Behaviours Consortium has expanded its service to the employment sector to ensure people feel safe in the workplace. This is one-day Disciplinary and Grievance Handling course and is being offered at the reduced fee of £100 (the normal price of £150 applies from March 2020) and includes course handouts on all topics included. Timings for the day: 9.00 am start to 5.00 pm finish. This 1-day course has been designed to introduce managers to the fundamentals of disciplinary and grievance processes to ensure fair and consistent treatment of employees and compliance with ACAS guidelines and legal requirements. It includes an understanding of relevant employment law, as well as the key skills necessary to conduct effective investigations and hearings. Key Protective Behaviours concepts underpin this course. This course is for anyone in a management, leadership role or is being prepared to take on a leadership role. Safeguarding for life: Ending exploitation. Does Protective Behaviours have the answer? You are invited to join us at the iconic Custard Factory, Digbeth, Birmingham for this exciting event. This half day conference explores how Protective Behaviours is used to improve Safeguarding and provides a practical approach to enable young people to protect themselves from victimisation and exploitation. This event is free and is for those involved with safeguarding children and young people up to 25 years. If you are involved in any professional role where exploitation, violence and poor mental wellbeing are issues then please join us to look at the benefits of Protective Behaviours for you and those you work with. There are key speakers from a range of organisations that support children and young people using Protective Behaviours.
