Introduction to Protective Behaviours course is an easy to follow, short 1 day course that explores the concept of feeling safe and focuses on the recognition of the importance of feeling safe. It explores everyone's right to feel safe and the Protective Behaviours learning strategies that can be used to support this.
This Foundation Level Protective Behaviours course is a unique, 2 day, accredited Level 2 Protective Behaviours training programme. It is our most popular course and looks at the concept of feeling safe in detail and explores how the Protective Behaviours Process can be used in a range of practical ways. Accreditation is achieved via successful completion of an electronic workbook.
Intermediate Level Champions 3 day course is accredited and combines an Employability and Leadership skills qualification with advanced Protective Behaviours training. This course is the ideal progression from the Foundation Level and is ideal for those who are looking to become the key Protective Behaviours 'champion' in their organisation.
Advanced Intermediate Level Protective Behaviours Course is a 4 day accredited programme ideal for Protective Behaviours wellbeing lead practitioners. It combines the Level 3 Award in Employability & Leadership Qualification as well as exploring and applying the Protective Behaviours Process in more detail and its application within settings.
The Award in Education & Training Level 3 is an accredited training qualification. It consists of 4 taught sessions looking at the roles, responsibilities, theories and practices of training and learning and is assessed via a portfolio of assessments and micro-teach. Ideal for those wishing to obtain a recognised adult training qualification.
Training for Trainers course is aimed at those who have already completed the Foundation Qualification, Intermediate Level course & the Award in Education & Training or an equivalent adult education qualification, & who are looking to become a PBC qualified trainers/ facilitator. The training consists of initial induction and pre-assessment session, 2 days delivery, a micro teach and 4 mentoring sessions.
Continued Professional Development (CPD) workshops are aimed at practitioners and facilitators already using Protective Behaviours in their practice. The short sessions vary and explore the impact and application of Protective Behaviours in a variety of contexts and environments. Workshops are personalised for each group.
